	Community Groups : Doing Life Together. Now Meeting on Sunday Nights. 4 Groups meeting in Saluda, Columbus, Tryon, and a Tryon/Landrum Group

	Coming Spring of 2009: The Galatians Class Beginning Thursday night, January 15 and going throughout the Spring, Grace will offer a class that walks through Paul's letter to the Galatians. This is a letter to folks in the first century that confused the gospel with religion. It is a letter of freedom. Cynthia Fore, a very gifted teacher, will be teaching and facilitating the class. The class will meet in the Grace Foothills offices and go from 6:30-8:00. You must register for this class by emailing gracefoothills@gmail.com or call Scott Stewart at 828-808-6867. The fee for the class is $25 (scholarship money is available). Registration deadline is January 11, 2009.

	Watershed Youth Ministry for Middle and High School on Wednesday Nights in the Grace Foothills Offices, 7:00-8:30

	Pastor In A Coffee Shop: Every Thursday morning from 8:15-Noon, Scott sets up his other "office" in the CCC Coffee Shop in Columbus. If you would like to have a cup of joe with Scott, send him an email (gracefoothills@gmail.com) and let him know you will be dropping by.

Current Art Show in The Grace Foothills Gallery

Come by the Grace Foothills Gallery (located at 27 S. Trade St. downtown Tryon) and see the wonderful art that is displayed by local artists. In our windows are works by local artisans and inside the Gallery are works by local photographers that are well known and loved in the community. We are thankful for Kathleen Carson from the Simply Irresistible Gallery in Tryon who brought all the work over and set it all up.

	Grace Foothills Christmas Party, Saturday Night, December 20th Saturday night, December 20, 6:00-until? in the home of Jeff and Helen Byrd(11 Freeman Hill Ct. Tryon, NC). Come for a festive night of great food and beverages, live jazz music from Asheville artist Mark Guest, and a night with old and new friends. Children are not invited (although we do love our kids!). Tell a friend, bring a friend.
	The Polar Express, Friday Night, December 12th All children ages 4 years old-5th grade are invited to "get on board the Polar Express". Parents, drop your kids off on Friday night, December 12th, at 6:00 at the Grace Foothills Offices. Your kids will watch "The Polar Express" on the big screen, eat pizza, drink hot chocolate and eat popcorn. Kids are encouraged to come in their pajamas, bathrobes, and slippers. 	Grace Foothills Offerings An Offering Box is located in the Cafe for your tithes and offerings. We do not pass a plate, but we do encourage you to give graciously to the work and mission of Grace Foothills as an act of worship.
