Artist's Statement:
I had my primary training with art in 1973 at the University of Northern Colorado. I was able to spend a year in Florence Italy for art during that time. My primary work after school was with watercolor representative work. I rarely did abstract art until 1980. I made a total commitment to abstract work in 2001 but I got away from most art completely until 2008. Now I'm very excited about the format and technique that I'm now commited to. Much of the work is based on enamel spray paint onto water. The works are extremely spontaneous and I let the paint 'lead me by chance'. I have recently brought conscious decision making to echo the free beginnings. Something of Eastern Yen and Yang. I hope those who want my art are drawn to the mystery and passion of life I'm trying to create
